Summary
Creating beautiful art is my key to my secret garden, it’s my way down the rabbit’s hole, and it’s my looking glass. Doodling and sketching images birthed it. From the very beginning, the whole process of transforming a sketch into a masterpiece struck me as magical. Over the years this magical process has captured my inner self. This is more than a run of the mill hobby. It is my passion. When I paint it fills me with a sense of accomplishment and integrity, and it has indeed proven to be a most amenable vehicle for translating my inner vision to an external reality. I paint from the inside out. Even though I work deliberately, consciously employing both traditional and innovative techniques, my unconsciousness is the undisputed project manager. Each and every one of us has our theology on how we create. For me the fundaments of drawing and painting are crucial, and I have personally have had firsthand experienced this to be beneficial to my artistic process. Without the basic traditional training in drawing and painting, I am certain and believe today's digital artist would be lost in their creative process.
